One of the things we are most proud of at Kisimani School is that the community, government and non-profit sectors have all worked together to build our school, and keep it a sustainable project.

Because our school infrastructure hasn't quite kept up with the volume of students, classrooms are overcrowded and the teachers are currently using one classroom as their office.

Constructing separate offices for our teachers will make for a better work environment for them, offer much needed secure storage for teaching aids and books...and finally let us tear down the particle-board partition that was construction 4 years ago in one of our classrooms to make an 'office' for the head teacher (see below.)

Project Goals:

Fundraising Target:  $20,000

Deadline:
November 2016

We want to tear down this particle-board partition that was supposed to be a temporary office, and now has been up for 4 years.

We want to move the teachers into their own offices, freeing up one of our classrooms for student use, thus reducing overcrowding.
